This Refund Policy covers the two kinds of payments Brixstep takes: subscriptions and Custom Creation Requests. It's part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Subscriptions
Brixstep's paid subscription is billed by our payment processor, Paddle, at the price and interval shown at checkout, and renews automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals, but doesn't refund the current billing period — you keep access until it ends. Refunds for a period already billed are given at our discretion, except where applicable law gives you a right to one (for example, a statutory cooling-off period for digital purchases in your country). To ask for a refund, contact us at the address below with your account email and the reason for the request.
2. Custom Creation Requests
Custom Creation Requests are also governed by our Custom Creation Request Terms. In short:
- If you cancel before we've started work on your request, you get a full refund.
- If you cancel after work has started, or if we decline or cancel your request (for example, because fulfilling it would require us to infringe someone's intellectual property — see our Custom Creation Request Terms), you get a full or partial refund at our discretion, reflecting the work already done.
- Once a Custom Creation Request has been delivered and accepted, it's non-refundable, except where required by law.
3. How to request a refund
Email inkhill@brixstep.com with your account email, what you paid for, and why you're asking for a refund. We'll respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued back through Paddle to your original payment method, and can take several business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
