Custom Creation Request — Terms

These terms apply to every Custom Creation Request submitted through Brixstep. By submitting a request, you agree to them.

1. What Brixstep owns

Brixstep retains all right, title, and interest in the Brixstep software and platform; the Brixstep name and brand; Brixstep's proprietary tools and algorithms (including its part-placement and model-generation methods); any templates or starting points Brixstep provides; and any designs, models, or creations that existed before, or independently of, your specific request (together, "Brixstep Materials"). Fulfilling a Custom Creation Request does not transfer ownership of Brixstep Materials to you.

2. What LDraw and other licensors own

Brixstep's part library and 3D geometry are built using the LDraw Parts Library and other third-party sources (together, "Licensed Materials"), each governed by its own license. Licensed Materials remain the property of their respective authors and licensors. Brixstep's own use of Licensed Materials is limited to what those licenses permit, and nothing in these terms expands, transfers, or sublicenses any rights beyond that scope.

3. What you receive

Once your Custom Creation Request is completed (and, where applicable, paid for), you receive the rights expressly stated for that specific delivery — typically the right to keep, display, build, and personally use the digital model or physical creation you commissioned (the "Commissioned Creation"). You receive no rights beyond what is expressly stated for your order.

4. What you do not receive

A Custom Creation Request does not give you:

• ownership of, or exclusive rights in, LDraw's or any licensor's underlying part geometry or other Licensed Materials;
• any LEGO® trademarks or other LEGO Group intellectual property — Brixstep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group;
• any third-party intellectual property incorporated into or referenced by your request, such as characters, logos, or franchises you did not create; or
• any ownership interest in Brixstep Materials, as described above.

5. What you promise us

By submitting a Custom Creation Request, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, fulfilling your request does not require Brixstep to infringe anyone else's intellectual property rights — including in any description, reference, or name you provide.

6. What Brixstep reserves the right to do

Brixstep may, at its discretion:

• decline or refuse to fulfill a request it considers potentially infringing, unlawful, or otherwise problematic;
• modify a request as needed to make the resulting creation original and non-infringing;
• remove or refuse to deliver content it later determines to be infringing; and
• cancel or terminate an order, with a full or partial refund where appropriate, including after work has begun.
